He asked around the neighborhood and the people informed him the homeless man was nice and respectable. One day, he decides to give Eric a losing lottery ticket, and took him to the store to see how much the lottery ticket valued. So the two head to the store, and Eric was shocked to hear that the ticket is a $1000 winner. Eric proceeded to break down because he was overwhelmed with emotion. He never knew such a huge blessing could happen to him. He even offered to share the earnings but the prankster told him to keep the money. This started out as a potential prank but instead ended with laughter and joyful tears. Rahat set up a fund account for Eric, with a goal of $20,000 to help Eric get back on his feet.
