Will the Vikings keep Adrian Peterson after suspension?

The NFL did not taking any chances this time while making a decision in the aftermath of the Adrian Peterson child abuse case. Adrian Peterson made a plea deal which would keep him from serving prison time. The question remained if Roger Goodell would allow Adrian Peterson to return to the field this season. The NFL and Roger Goodell made their announcement Tuesday morning and came to the conclusion that Adrian Peterson will be suspended for the rest of the season without pay. The NFL Players Association quickly announced it will appeal the decision. If the suspension stands, the earliest Adrian Peterson will be considered for reinstatement is April 15, 2015. The question would remain if the Vikings plan on keeping or releasing Adrian Peterson.
