Top Five Sports Venues



Chicago has a great history of sports venues throughout the city with more great news. Chicago has been named the host site for the 2016 NCAA Men’s Basketball Midwest Regional, the NCAA announced on Monday. The Big Ten Conference will serve as the official host of the event in collaboration with the Chicago Sports Commission. This event will be held at the United Center, Best-known as the home of the Chicago Bulls basketball team and the Chicago Blackhawks hockey club. Other Chicago sport venues includes Soldier Field, This is the home of the Chicago Bears, the local NFL team. Wrigley Field, Famous home to the Chicago Cubs, Wrigley Field is the second oldest ballpark still in operation in the United States. U.S. Cellular Field, is home to one of Chicago's baseball teams, the White Sox, and is one of the more modern baseball facilities in the United States. UIC Pavilion, this arena is part of the University of Illinois at Chicago. The venue is available throughout the year for corporate, civic and cultural events as wells as festivals, meetings an sports events. Two additional venues includes Toyota Park, which is home field for the Chicago Fire Soccer Club. And, Allstate Arena which is a multi-purpose arena in Rosemont, Illinois. It is home to the Chicago Rush, DePaul University's men's basketball team, the Chicago Wolves of the AHL, and the Chicago Sky of the WNBA.
