Is Jimmy Butler the Most Improved Player?

Bulls guard Jimmy Butler is playing at an all-star level in the NBA this season. While the injury bug continues to sideline Derrick Rose, the Bulls 4th year guard has taken full advantage of his opportunity. Jimmy Butler was selected in the 2011 NBA draft by the Chicago Bulls. Earlier this season, Jimmy Butler took a gamble that might pay off. He will become a restricted free agent at the end of this season. Butler, turned down the Bulls final offer which would have paid him roughly $11 million dollars a season. Jimmy leads the Bulls in scoring averaging 21.3 points per game. If he continues to play on this high level, Jimmy could have a huge payday that the Bulls will have to match to keep him around. Some  NBA analytics, consider Jimmy Butler a rising star, which can make the Bulls backcourt one of the best since the Michael Jordan era. The only question is will Derrick Rose get healthy and remain healthy. Here are Jimmy Butler's 2014 season highlights.
